remedies for a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week

Breakfast+flower

Make oatmeal on the stove and add all of your favorite things (or what you have on hand, which may include vanilla, pecans, brown sugar, steamed milk, and nutella. Drink coffee from your new favorite thrifted mug. Keep a pretty flower on your window sill and enjoy with breakfast.

Bread+kitchen

Bake fresh bread around midnight. Because you can take out any frustrations while kneading, and your kitchen will smell like heaven. The results will make you deliriously happy and satisfied. Try not to consume an entire loaf in one day (but if you do, it'll be alright, there's another!)

Feet+coffee

Get outside and enjoy the sunshine with iced coffee. If you happen to have salted caramel in your kitchen, just mix a teaspoon of it into fresh coffee with sugar, add milk, and pour over ice.
