oatmeal crisps

P1101621.jpg

Jeff and I were craving something sweet after dinner the other night and I found this recipe for oatmeal crisps. The recipe looked so simple that I made them right then and they only took a few minutes to whip up. While they taste great, (butter + sugar + oatmeal + vanilla....how can they not taste good?) they are actually also fun to eat. Now I'm thinking of different things I could drizzle on top of them next time I make them.

yum. good work. sorry I havn't gotten back to you about that photo I enlarged. It was super easy and cheap! Do you have office type stores down there? Like where you can buy back to school supplies and computers? I just brought by 4X6 print there and they blew it up for me for $20. The frame is from a craft store. I think the quality would be better if you had the digital copy of the print and brought it in on a usb or disc..... hope that helps. xxoo

ps. i liked your comment about wearing your hair down for 2 days strait. that would have been a big deal for me too!

@nikaela marie Thank you so much! $20 sounds really reasonable compared to other places I've looked online. I can't wait to turn some of my pictures into wall art!

so, this is really random. but i saw on your blog a while back a picture of you at the beach, and i thought, "that looks a lot like kwajalein" (we went there the summer we were married). and i double checked with my husband robbie, who ALSO grew up on that teeny tiny island, and he said "YES and i went to high school with that girl's husband!" hahaha. small world! REALLY small.
